We & Goliath is an event strategy, marketing, and production agency. We help organizations run virtual, hybrid, and in-person events that drive measurable outcomes. When you visit our website, sign up for our newsletter, or reach out about working with us, you share some personal information with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Here is the part most people care about: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to other companies to use for their own marketing. We collect what we need to answer your questions, deliver our work, and stay in touch when you have asked us to. That is it.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to people who visit weandgoliath.com, submit a form on our site (for example, a newsletter, contact, quote, or strategy session request), or otherwise interact with us online. It does not cover the separate agreements we sign with clients for paid work; those are governed by their own contracts.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly
When you fill out a form or email us, you may share:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• Your organization and your role there.
• Details about your event or project, such as goals, timeline, budget range, and anything else you choose to type into a free-text field.

You are in control of what you tell us. If a field is optional and you would rather skip it, skip it.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, ours gathers some technical information when you visit:

Your IP address, browser type, and device information.

Pages you viewed, links you clicked, and how long you spent on the site.

Cookies and similar technologies (for example, analytics and advertising pixels) that help us understand what is working and reach the right audiences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and we say more about that under “Your choices” below.

Event and attendee information

When we produce an event for a client, we sometimes handle registration and attendee details such as names, email addresses, organizations, ticket or session selections, and accessibility or dietary needs. We handle that information on our client’s behalf, to run the event: communications, logistics, and reporting. The client (the event organizer) decides how attendee information is used, including whether it is shared with their own sponsors or partners. Those choices belong to the organizer, not to us. (If you registered for an event we produced and have a question about your data, the event organizer is usually the best first contact, and we are happy to help.)

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Respond to your questions, send quotes, and schedule strategy sessions.
• Plan, produce, and evaluate events for our clients.
• Send newsletters and updates when you have opted in, and event confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups when you have registered for something we run.
• Keep accurate records of our leads, clients, and partners in our CRM.
• Understand how our website and content are performing so we can improve them.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

To say it plainly one more time: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

When we share information

We keep your information close, but running a business means using a handful of trusted tools, and a few situations call for sharing. Here is the full picture.

Service providers. We rely on reputable companies to operate, such as website hosting, email delivery, marketing and CRM software, analytics, event platforms, and (where relevant) payment processing. These providers may handle your information only to perform services for us, and they are required to protect it and not use it for their own purposes.

Acting for our clients. When we run an event, we handle attendee information under our client’s direction and only to deliver the event. The event organizer, not We & Goliath, decides whether their attendee data is shared with their sponsors or partners.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our people, our clients, or the public.

Business changes. If We & Goliath is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be part of that transfer. We would let you know and keep the protections in this policy in place.

Where your information is handled

We are based in the United States, and most of the people who contact us are too. We occasionally hear from people in Canada, Latin America, the EU, the UK, and elsewhere. Wherever you are, your information will be processed in the United States and possibly in other countries where our service providers operate. We choose providers that follow recognized security practices.

If you are in a region with specific privacy laws (for example, the EU or UK), we will handle your information in line with those laws where they apply. In practice, that means we process your information to respond to your requests and provide services you have asked for, and to pursue legitimate business interests such as marketing and improving our work. We limit analytics and advertising tracking by default for visitors in regions with stricter privacy laws, and only enable fuller tracking where the law allows or you have given consent. You can change your preferences or ask us to stop certain uses at any time by contacting us.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it: to maintain a relationship with leads and clients, to meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, and to keep a record of past events and campaigns. We review our CRM and mailing lists periodically and remove or anonymize information we no longer need. You can ask us to delete your information, and we will do so where we are able.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to keep personal information secure, including access controls and sensible internal practices. No website or system is ever perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously.

Your choices and rights

You have real control over your information:

• Access, correction, and deletion. Email us at info@weandgoliath.com to see, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any legal limits.
• Marketing emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will take you off the list.
• Cookies and analytics. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of many analytics and advertising networks through their own tools.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. For example, California residents have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Since we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any of these rights, just contact us.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are meant for businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business and the law evolve. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for significant changes we will post a notice on the site or, where appropriate, email the people affected.
