Bringing members and delegates back together after 2 years of COVID-induced separation
The Challenge
FSBPT’s last in-person Annual Education Summit was held in 2019. When COVID struck just weeks before their first 2020 engagement, members and voting delegates could no longer gather to discuss topics, debate action items, or elect new board and committee members. While finding their virtual footing in 2022, FSBPT contracted We & Goliath to produce a fully prerecorded virtual introduction of board and committee nominees for voting delegates. Delighted with the outcome of that project, they asked for help to find an equitable, interactive broadcast solution to serve those members still unable to attend the group’s triannual gatherings in cities across the United States.
Our Solution
To serve organizations with distributed memberships and time-sensitive event calendars, We & Goliath developed a lightweight, three-camera hybrid event system designed for rapid deployment anywhere in North America. Built for flexibility without sacrificing production quality, the system can be fully assembled and tested in under three hours and struck in just one — requiring only one to three crew members depending on the complexity of the production. This makes it equally well-suited for intimate board meetings and large-scale multi-session conferences alike, offering a consistent, professional broadcast experience whether the event spans a single afternoon or an entire week. Our custom live streams integrate on-site and remote speakers, allow for virtual attendee Q&A, and provide professional live video and recordings with custom layouts including speakers with slides, polling, video clips, overlays and more.
The Results
With this flexible offering, We & Goliath provides FSBPT a seamless solution that makes every remote guest — and presenter — feel genuinely included across their annual Regulatory Conference (April), Leadership Information Forum (July), and Annual Education Summit (October). Virtual moderators and scribes collaborate with local and online breakout groups alike, ensuring that voices from every corner are brought back to the room as a whole. And while individual tables cheer for their designated reporting delegates, the entire room regularly erupts in applause welcoming their virtual table delegates — homebound friends stretching all the way from Guam to Alaska to Puerto Rico.
